When I saw the headline, I immediately thought about how Business Copilot uses a number of Compliance rules that would make that data available to employers. Employers should not be trusted with that. So, good for Microsoft for remembering that before they pushed out this new agent.

We may never know if Microsoft is delaying this in response to privacy concerns voiced by its customers, but we do know that many customers had strong reservations about this feature. Yet another thing for law firms and other industries where confidential information is discussed in meetings to be aware of.
My best advice for recurring meetings is to skip creating an agenda in Loop. It simply doesn’t work unless you want a single agenda, and you never change it before the meeting.
Will that ever be enough revenue to offset the massive investments they’ve made in AI? Time will tell. Right now, these are some early warning signs, but also small enough that I can’t imagine they’ll move the needle one way or the other. I’m not jumping to any conclusions based on them, but I do have my eyes open.
You’re often flying blind when someone leaves the organization and leaves Loop Workspaces behind, because I can take ownership, but I couldn’t review the content. Now, I can review the content and share it with a new owner as necessary.
This should help many of us govern Loop Workspaces much, much more effectively.
