Worth Reading – Copilot Health: Now in Preview

I don’t know that I would trust any AI with my full medical records, even though Microsoft seems to be doing everything it can to keep the data safe and prevent misinformation from sneaking into the model.

Things happen with electronic data; it’s never fully safe.

I will, however, give Microsoft credit for this decision:

Copilot Health is available today in preview to Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, and Premium subscribers aged 18 and over in the US. Work accounts are not eligible.

When I saw the headline, I immediately thought about how Business Copilot uses a number of Compliance rules that would make that data available to employers. Employers should not be trusted with that. So, good for Microsoft for remembering that before they pushed out this new agent.

Would you trust AI with your health? Do you plan to try out Copilot Health?
