Worth Reading – Purview DLP Isn’t Just Watching Copilot Anymore
Yes, Purview can also monitor other GenAI tools, but at what cost? And, more importantly, do you have the right resources not just to set up Purview, but to use Defender, configure endpoint protection, and pay for the licensing required to do all of this? (Including the various PAYG tools involved?)
That’s the larger question I bet most organizations are dealing with. It’s not about Microsoft providing the tools; it’s that they are spread across so many areas of expertise that the team may not have.
Personally, I think that’s the challenge many of us face with technology like AI. If it can touch everything, how many different tools do I need to master to keep my information protected?
