Worth Reading – Planner Tasks Gain Support for Retention Policies
Some interesting things to consider when setting a retention policy for Planner tasks. I’m interested in seeing how it works, but also whether it applies to the copy of the task stored in the user’s mailbox when it’s assigned to someone.
From an eDiscovery standpoint, I don’t think Planner tasks have been a huge topic of concern. As a Planner user, it might be nice not to have 522 completed tasks and counting in a plan. How long do you feel comfortable needing to go back to show that a task was completed? For some of us, that might be forever, truly.
